2003 Cabo 45 Express

Indian Harbour Beach, Florida

2003 Cabo 45 Express

This boat was "maxed out" by the original owner. Blue Pearl was ordered with the largest engines available, the MAN D2840LE403 with 1050 HP each and it came with oversized 2.75" shafts. The current owner worked with a custom prop shop in 2022 to get a custom pair of 5 blade VEEM Sportfish-C props and the boat improved from a crusing speed of 30 knots to a cruising speed of 33 knots with a top end of over 40 knots !

Fishing equipped with full tuna tower, double spreader outriggers, climate-controlled command deck, tackle center with freezer, (2) fish boxes (1 with freezer plates), bait well, teak rocket launcher in cockpit. Other equipment includes a Westerbeke 15 KW diesel generator, retractable Glendinning electrical shore cord, complete Garmin late model multifunction electronic/navigation package with (4) 7612XSV displays (CHIRP and Sidescan sonar, 25 KW HDx2 Garmin radar, Fusion-link, weather data, wi-fi), Garmin GHP autopilot, and FLIR camera.

Manufacturers Comments

One of the largest express fishermen available, the premium price of the Cabo 45 is enough to bring all but the most affluent anglers to their knees. She’s constructed on a beamy modified-V hull with cored hullsides, a deep forefoot, and a well-flared bow. Aside from her rakish profile, perhaps the most distinctive feature of the Cabo 45 is her huge bridge deck with its centerline helm, integral electronics console, and expansive lounge seating. The fully equipped cockpit comes with a transom livewell, a beautifully designed tackle center, and two huge in- deck fish boxes. The engine room, beneath the bridge deck, is massive. The standard single-stateroom interior of the Cabo 45 is meticulously finished, and the spacious salon provides seating for a small crowd. Additional features include storage for over 20 rods, an electrically controlled windshield vent, and a transom door with gate. Over 100 were built.
