The True North 33 represents a milestone in sensible design, solid performance, and robust construction. This fast, fun cruiser delivers impressive, dependable performance, requires low maintenance and will maintain a high resale value. Built using the patented SCRIMP system of infusion (Pearson Composites) the hull and deck are lighter and stronger than conventionally laid-up fiberglass. This is one tough boat. But tough can also be beautiful, and the True North 33 will turn heads in every harbor. Her sweeping sheer line, proud, plumb bow, low-profile pilothouse, gorgeous tumblehome, and curvaceous, reverse transom all work together in perfect harmony. You can't walk away and not look back at her. Since the deck level is where all the action is, the up-galley arrangement is convenient to the helmsperson and to passengers in the saloon and cockpit. Kids with wet bathing suits and sandy feet can quench their thirst and appease their appetite without creating a mess down below. For adults, entertaining dockside or underway is so much easier when everything is accessible and close by. Visibility is most important at the helm, and this boat offers true 360° views from the steering station. You don't have to leave the controls to see behind you when docking, and when underway, the hull's low running angle keeps the bow below your line of sight. Many True North owners have said this is the easiest boat they have ever docked or driven, regardless of size. Last, but not least, the engine room is readily accessible from the saloon. The efficient, single diesel engine has plenty of room surrounding it, making everyday service checks and regular maintenance easy. Here, Pearson's years of experience in building both sail and power vessels are evident, as the well-engineered systems and thoughtful selection of equipment will provide years of trouble-free service.
