Access to the engine room of the Hatteras 42 Cockpit Motor Yacht is effortless. Twin diesel engines drive the yacht to perform comfortably in the 20-plus knot range. Large capacity internal basket-type sea strainers are specified for sea water intakes to protect the engines and other vital systems. High-lift fuel pumps are standard. Heat is evacuated via brawny 120-V engine room fans.
